My nephew turned 1 in October which presented his mother with a bit of a dilema - How do you make a birthday cake for a child with egg and dairy allergy and further to that, so his mother, a Coeliac sufferer can enjoy it too? My sister likes a challenge, especially when it comes down to food and she set about creating a cake that everyone could eat and this is what she came up with. It looked excellent and tasted just as good - You would never have known that it was a cake specifically baked to the needs of allergy sufferers, a total triumph! You can see that Oliver enjoyed it.
Side note - As you can see from the images, there were some problems with rewinding the film which provided an interesting result that I’m actually quite pleased with. You’d never get interesting results like this with digital.
